Michael C. Saqui is the managing shareholder of Saqui & Raimondo. He has successful experience in all aspects of employer-employee relations, including union organizing campaigns, union elections, boycotts and corporate campaigns, defending unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration and strike defense, and contingency planning.

Mr. Saqui also provides the firm’s clients with expertise and assistance in employment matters by drafting and implementing employment policies and procedures, providing advice to employers on terminations and discipline, responding to harassment and complaints of discrimination, protection of trade secrets and compliance with the myriad of laws that affect employers.

He does extensive public speaking including seminars, lectures, and in-house trainings, to assist and counsel employers in developing pro-active approaches to address virtually all employment and labor relations matters.

Currently, Mr. Saqui is a member of the California League of Food Processors, the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization, the National Council of Agricultural Employers, the Agricultural Personnel Management Association and is Vice President of AgSafe - Coalition for Health and Safety in Agriculture.

Anthony P. Raimondo is a shareholder of Saqui & Raimondo. An honors graduate of the Vermont Law School, Mr. Raimondo defends employers before the California Labor Commissioner, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the courts, including complex wage and hour class action litigation.

Recognized statewide as a leading authority in wage and hour law, he assists employers implement practical solutions addressing the hidden traps of State and Federal wage and hour laws, and the resulting employment problems, claims and lawsuits.

His comprehensive audits and compliance programs have become the standard in the industry. As a member of the labor relations team, Mr. Raimondo also assists clients in implementing union avoidance strategies and counter-organizing campaigns.

Mr. Raimondo is a frequent public speaker who presents seminars on labor and employment issues throughout the state, and is a frequent contributor of articles to periodicals and journals addressing issues of importance to employers, and teaches continuing education classes to farm labor contractors.

As the firm’s chief litigator, Mr. Raimondo defends employers against the aggressive litigation tactics that threaten California employers. He has defended small family businesses as well as large class actions involving hundreds of employees.
